EUC Engineering has been awarded the work to conduct a LOPA (Layer of Protection Analysis) workshop for a client manufacturing Titanium Dioxide (TiO2) using a chemical process at a refinery in WA. The work will be aligned with the functional safety lifecycle in AS IEC 61511, with the application being in the process industries. The work will identify a target or required SIL for a range of Safety Instrumented Functions, which achieve risk reduction against the risk of process hazards.
